Job Description

Are you a designer who sees design as more than just moving pixels, but as a powerful tool to evoke emotions and influence behavior? 2TON is looking for a thoughtful Visual Designer with a passion that extends beyond self-expression.

As a key player in our team, you will transform business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into visually captivating designs that align with client brands and adhere to industry standards. Your role involves creating compelling, responsive, and adaptable websites and digital graphics. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and innovating visual assets, employing a user-centered design approach to deliver and develop aesthetically pleasing solutions.

In this role, you'll work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, showcasing your design expertise and creativity to contribute to the success of exciting projects across various industries. Strong verbal and visual communication skills are essential.

Note: While we work mostly remote, this is a hybrid role so you must be able to commute to our office in West Palm Beach, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize prototyping software and design tools to craft conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, and functional prototypes, ensuring a cohesive transition from ideation to tangible design assets.
  • Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
  • Translate design concepts into functional websites using intuitive platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and others.
  • Facilitate seamless design adaptability across diverse device viewports, maintaining consistency in brand and pattern library usage.
  • Deliver functional high-fidelity prototypes and execute pixel-perfect adjustments to existing assets based on feedback, ensuring a smooth adaptation of imagery across responsive breakpoints.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design work through testing and iteration to meet high standards of quality, creativity, and brand consistency.
  • Create engaging visual elements for various digital media, including graphics, websites, social platforms, email, paid marketing, and display ads.
  • Actively collaborate during product ideation and conceptual development with a diverse, cross-functional team comprising designers, developers, and project managers.
  • Effectively convey design ideas and rationale through articulate verbal communication and compelling visual presentations, both virtually and in person, to peers and cross-functional leaders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years related experience in a design or agency setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related design discipline.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma).
  • Knowledgeable about the capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience with content management systems and page builders like WordPress and Shopify.
  • Good foundational skills in design principles, UX standards, layout, color theory, and typography.
  • Up to date with latest UX/UI trends, techniques and technologies for desktop and mobile applications.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to push the envelope of creativity 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be highly communicative and a team player, and be able to work closely with internal staff and external clients.
