It's not every day that you get to collaborate closely with the entire team in one room. Last month, we gathered at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Jupiter for our annual Summiton. With no client interactions, the event focused on fostering internal relationships and generating innovative ideas. The day featured an inspiring speaker, delicious food, and served as a kick-off for the year, emphasizing the importance of team growth. Summiton is a crucial part of our commitment to cultivating a positive work culture at 2TON, ensuring we align our goals for the upcoming year and better serve our clients through strengthened teamwork. Join us as we dive into what our day entailed.
To kickstart the day, we had a delicious breakfast spread featuring a variety of fruits, pastries, bagels, coffee and more. Nicole, our Director of Business Evolution, (AKA the rockstar who coordinated the entire event) welcomed us, setting the stage for an epic day ahead.

Following breakfast, we kicked off a concentric circles activity, organizing into two facing circles. Nicole introduced a thought-provoking question, encouraging each of us to share our answers and engage in discussion with the person seated across from us. To mix things up, the people in the outer circle then shifted to the left until everyone had completed a full round of interactions. This exercise not only helps our company grow closer but provides us with insights into each other's perspectives and experiences.
Next up, the charismatic speaker and entrepreneur, Mike Ficara, took the stage, guiding us through an engaging activity centered around the seemingly simple task of making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (yes, really!). He taught our team valuable lessons on the significance of active listening, the importance of effective communication, and the wisdom in allowing experts to lead with their expertise.
After all that time discussing PB&Js, we were hungry. We indulged in a backyard BBQ-style lunch featuring burgers, chicken thighs, salad, mac and cheese, and a tasty carrot cake to satisfy our cravings.
With satisfied appetites, we rolled into the next phase of our fun-filled day. Things got wild with an intense game of rock, paper, scissors before breaking out into our realms. Conversations sparked around intriguing topics like "How would you describe your realm to someone outside our industry?" and "What would it look like if you could get everything you wanted?"
Afterwards, we had a gallery walk presentation, where each realm showcased their answers to the rest of the team. This incredible activity provided a unique opportunity to discover more about our coworkers and their roles in a way we hadn't experienced before.
Wrapping up the action-packed day, we gathered around to share our roses and thorns, diving into the highs and lows of our lives recently.
This day was truly one-of-a-kind and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
